
Description (Designed for ages 18 and older)
This group is for 17 & Over swimmers that are swimming for fitness, competition or complement other forms of training. Swimmers in this group are self motivated and want to improve, or excel in the aquatic environment. 18 & Over athletes can also attend competitions. You can choose either a set monthly schedule or opt-in for a drop-in card for more flexibility (see masters monthly for more details about that option).
Schedule
- Includes water times only
- Up to 5 days/week
- Drop In: If you are looking for once a week or flexibility due to work schedules (rotating, away often)
- 10 swim punch card
- carries over to subsequent seasons upon new registration
- non-refundable once purchased and not transferrable to other swimmers
- Currently no sign up for drop in workouts required at this time, but maybe implemented if there are space restrictions
- If you are coming more than twice a week on set days, check out our monthly option for a cheaper rate/workout
Prerequisite
- 17 & older (must be 18 to attend masters competitions)
- Able to swim 100m of Freestyle continuously
- Comfortable in deep water
- Willing to learn and develops personals skills that relate to the aquatic environment
Goals
- Have Fun!
- Work on aerobic development and refining strokes
- For those interested in competition, working on the necessary skills like starts and turns
- Follow basic competitive rules all the time
- Establish regular attendance habits
Swimmer Expectations
- Strive to attend all workouts,
- Arrive 5 minutes before practice starts so you can start on time
- Bring a water bottle to every workout
- Treat others with respect and care
- Have a positive attitude
- Ensure all fees are paid on time and account is in order
- Treat other parents, athletes and coaches with respect
- Adhere to Athlete Code of Conduct
